What's this? Do your eyes deceive you? No, dear reader, it really is another blog post! But what's been happening in the time since my last post? Well, here's a brief catch up of some of the major events - Lake District, new friends, new job, birthday party. Not much really - nevermind
Anyway, just thought I'd make an entry for my Wednesday. Started out wrong - got up late but amazingly got into work for 9am, quite an achievement. Quite a few calls came in so that kept me busy. Had my regular rant with Mr O'Neill at lunch - it beats paying a psychiatrist, that's for sure, and plus this way I get my very own superiority complex! More work, then home
This is were things got interesting. Lee and I haven't seen each other for a while, and mentioned in a late night chat last night on MSN that we need to get together again. So to the Trafford Centre we decide, when who should knock on my door minutes before the off? Lo and behold, Lady Melange in drag - and she makes a pretty convincing Darren, let me tell you! So he tags along too. Cue the ever so fun clothes shopping that I just love to do (ahem) - not really, but the comedy moments made up for it - mostly involving Darren's behaviour and Lee in the dressing room. No totty at all there either - hugely disappointing on that front, although someone else did have an admirer, whilst another had a hater
One the way back one of us made a revelation - I won't say who, or what, but I'm happy for them. It's about time!!! You know the drill by now anyway about the rules of the car
Back home, and we're treated to more of Darren's admirers on FaceParty - if only they knew of the slating they receive from Mr Melling. Oh well, they'll find out when they log in and hear it from Darren himself :)
After everyone left I watched the Apple event video. The new iTunes phone is piss poor - Motobotolotorola are an awful make, and it just looks like they've added iTunes as a Java application - what a breakthrough, eh? Ooh it pauses on incoming calls - my last phone which I bought two years did that. 100 songs as well? Pitiful. The new iPod Nano though - wow, that thing is incredible! It's so small and feature packed. Expensive, but aren't they all? I'm impressed, but I'm still holding off in the market - my MuVo is still catering for my needs, albeit awkwardly. I love the way Steve Jobs can make little catchphrases for the products though - great technique
Right then, I'd best be off to bed - I've got a training day tomorrow for my job, and I've only been there what now, over a month? :) Nah, I had a bit of training over that period, and what with changes being made and people being off it wasn't the best time! Glad I'm there though - I just hope I can shine!
Until next time - Happiness lies in your own hands, it took me much to long to understand how it could be - until you shared your secret with me
