I hope I don't open a can o' worms with this YouTube blogging feature, but this video is just too much...

(EDIT – it didn’t seem to work after I edited the post, so it’s something to try again another time).
It's by a group called 'BWO' (formerly 'Bodies Without Organs'). I love the song, and PopJustice had made a post on their site. I'm glad they did - I may have never seen this magnificently bad video...
I feel like it is my duty to provide a description of the video for those who choose not to watch it, but for those who do, let's watch it together.

- 0:00 - aww, pretty clouds. So serene, this video isn't going to be so bad...
- 0:06 - was that a flying dog? Well, maybe he clocked up too many AirMiles.
- 0:18 - argh! A strange dog-man. That is scarier than that 'Where's Your Head At?' video! And what's with the cheesy dancers?
- 0:31 - now we're cleaning a car? Well, I suppose we don't want to be driving somewhere in a dirty vehicle. We are superstars BWO!
- 0:48 - woo! A man in pants! And another in a vest-thing, not so hot. And a woman dressed in a chandelier. Plus dolphins! This is definitely making sense now!
- 0:53 - now there's a seahorse? But of course!
- 1:09 - it's the seagull from Maghull! Hello!
- 1:49 - see? Animal testing isn't so bad!
- 2:01 - it's a blue car! And a horse!
- 2:17 - what's up there then?
- 2:31 - it's Bjork! No wait, just a strange mannequin-thing that sings. Well that's alright then.
- 2:40 - dolly porn (and I don't mean sheep!).
- 2:46 - prepare yourselves for something so totally brilliant you will wet your friend's pants.
- 3:03 - THE CUTE LITTLE DOG IS SINGING! WHERE CAN I GET ONE? THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER! WE MUST HAVE SINGING DOG FOR THE REST OF THE VIDEO, RIGHT?
- 3:18 - nope, you might as well switch off now (unless you want to watch some last seconds of cavorting in pants, a few animals and a dog dressed as a bee).
Well, I need to go for a lie down now. Wake me when it hits number 1.
Until next time – FYI - dogs singing in videos are brilliant. No question.

When I'm Calling You
I thought I’d avoid the obvious David Bowie reference for this one…
Well, just caught on the news that NASA have found what they think could be water on Mars! I’m really excited by this – I really do hope they find life. Okay, so it may not be the intelligent aliens that some of us want, but it’s still something incredible if you think about it. I just hope they don’t find that it’s oil leaked from their robots containing bacteria from back here on Earth! And I also hope there aren’t any intelligent Martians hiding under the surface, planning to ack-ack-ack ack-ack – ahem, I mean invade us. Well, I’ll be ready if they do.
Until next time – be on your guard if you’re planning on seeing Tom Jones in Las Vegas anytime soon. It’s not unusual.

Up & Down
Well, it’s been an interesting week in Graham land…
I had an enjoyable evening with Miss Ellis – we went to see ‘Strange Than Fiction’, a film with a man I detest (Will Ferrell). Well, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I knew I would. It was a choice between that and Pan’s Labyrinth, and I think that film will be better enjoyed in The Box at FACT – I was in the mood for an enjoyable comedy and that’s what I got. Very interesting premise and well executed. Someone from work was also there, although I didn’t see him (he told me yesterday in work he saw me. Yes my life is this fascinating!).
My increased overdraft with NatWest went through, and I went a-spending on some lovely new items for ‘New Room’. Sadly a few of the items I wanted were out of stock, but hopefully I’ll pick them up before Sarah comes home this Xmas to help me decorate. They haven’t delivered the blinds cutter and cleaning kit yesterday, but I’ve filed my missing item query.
Speaking of decorations, it’s the turn of Vicky and Jon to decorate for the IT Festive Desk (still not sure on that title). There are a few clashes (gold and red – no, silver and purple – no wait, gold and red – etc.), but it’s shaping up nicely. I’ll need a haircut soon though if I’m to avoid a repeat of XHS (Xmas Hat Syndrome). And all my devices with an LCD are showing my lovely Xmas background, and my ZEN is getting a boost with more festive tunes! Also had my Xmas meal with the team last night – a very enjoyable affair, but they didn’t half show their age with talks of ‘David Essex’ and ‘Vision On’, whatever those are. And I like some old stuff! Although the night was tainted by me suffering third-degree burns by the hands of an arsonist!
Major downs have happened to. Firstly, I hate hoodies – I feel for you my little strawberry! And poor James Kim from CNET has passed away trying to save his family. Very sad, but being a tech editor and writer you’d think he’d have some gadgetry – strange indeed.
Well, that’s the recap sorted. I’ll get on with some themed posts now.
Until next time – take some chances and be careful, it’s not always a friendly world out there.
